THIRUNANDIKKARA MANDAPAM

This is a pavilion constructed out of the ruined parts of the original mandapa in Thirunandikkara Temple. The pagoda shaped roof with the dropping pendants and the carved pillars are characteristics of 15th century architecture. The corner capitals of the pillars are decorated with beautiful Devi images. The side panels of the platform are elaborately carved with the figures of soldiers.
