God Surya is associated with the origin of the Hindu trinity. Being very intimately related with Lord Vishnu and directly with Lord Rudra, God Surya has ultimately become Siva in Puranic times. The exhibit is standing on a one wheeled chariot with seven horses. Aruna is seated as the charioteer. Mandala is also represented. There are half bloomed lotuses in the hand.
